Normality slowly resumes as the excitement about the year as European
Capital of Culture winds down.
But Linz has become a town of listeners, and the residents have grown
sensitive:
How does everyday life sound? How important is music in our daily
surroundings?

These are the topics we will focus on in a concert series to be
performed in Linz, starting in January. We have worked out a form of
presentation that will consist in a mixture of film sequences and works
of music; common things will be presented to the audience in a new light.

Young composers from various countries were invited to contribute a work
of their own; and the result of their reflections about everyday life is
a diverse program of contemporary music and audiovisual works.
